36th anniversary of the ADA
In July 2026, the Oregon Disabilities Commission, Northwest ADA Center and Disability Rights Oregon will host a weekly webinar series to recognize and celebrate the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The series will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pacific Time on Tuesdays throughout July and will launch on Tuesday, July 7. Everyone is welcome to participate.
Jason's Run and Recharge
“Registration Opens July 8th.
Jason’s Run and Recharge Program Respite Night is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12th, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Desert Song Community Church in Redmond. Families of children with disabilities (birth–18) are invited to drop off their child for an evening of fun, connection, and care—while you take time to relax and recharge!
Each family receives a $100 gift card at drop-off.
A cozy, welcoming, and inclusive space!

“Our first ever prom will be a joyful, sensory-aware celebration designed for neurodivergent teens and young adults.
This prom provides a welcoming, judgment-free environment where attendees can enjoy music, movement, creativity, and connection at their own pace. The evening will feature a silent DJ, hyperfixation stations, refreshments, a photo booth, and plenty of space for socializing or finding quiet time, as needed. Care providers may also attend at no cost, ensuring families and support teams can participate comfortably.

“Meets: 2nd Saturday & 3rd Monday of each month. In months where the dates are too close together, the Monday group meets on the following Monday.
Time: 6:30–7:30 PM
This peer-led social group is for young adults ages 18–30 who are no longer in school.
Participants must be at least 18 years old; the group is not open to minors.
Two group consultants attend each session to help create a socially safe environment by mediating conflict when needed and supporting participants in making connections.

Thanks to the generous donation from Lesank LLC, the MAC is hosting its first ever FREE open swim.
The first 120 people get in FREE, spots are limited, so mark your calendars! Just check-in at the MAC starting at 7:15pm. (Online says full because this is a WALK-IN activity).
Play time for everyone! Enjoy our wonderful facility by floating around the lazy river, sliding down the 100-foot slide, diving off the diving board, swinging off the rope swing, soaking in the hot tub, or just splashing around and having fun! Whether you're here to splash or just soak, there's something for everyone.
